英文会议演讲稿篇三:英语国际会议报告演讲稿
Good morning, dear colleagues! With great pleasure, I am here to present. As a student majoring in safety engineering, it is my intention today to introduce a method for evaluating safety—LEevaluation.
As per the PPT content, my presentation is structured into three main sections. First, I will introduce LE Concept concisely, as some of you may have encountered it in your studies; it evaluates the level of risk when individuals operate in potentially hazardous environments. This serves as a half-quantitative safety assessment method for categorizing systems and assessing whether they meet minimum safety standards.
Then, which letters signify? D represents danger and conveys that this system is quite perilous. L denotes likelihood and indicates the probability of an accident occurring. E stands for exposure level and reveals how frequently workers are exposed to hazardous environments. C indicates consequence and highlights the severity and potential impact of accidents.
Here's a chart, with each section comprising multiple levels. Using likelihood as an example, it has seven distinct levels, ranging from 0.1 to 10, reflecting increasing probabilities. Moreover, if D's score exceeds 320, this system poses a severe risk and must cease operations.
By means of LEC evaluation, we can ensure that if necessary, the workplace undergoes rectification and reform, enabling us to implement necessary safety measures to prevent accidents. This method proves to be effective in scenarios where specific evaluation models or data are unavailable.
This method has been effectively implemented across numerous sectors such as aircraft manufacturing railways metallurgy and coal extraction industries. The consistent application of this technique demonstrates minimal variations across different fields. In the first step it is imperative to choose an appropriate evaluation unit before identifying the primary hazard within that unit. Subsequently utilizing this chart allows us to derive a comprehensive assessment of potential risks and formulate effective mitigation strategies.
