The Autonomous Vehicle System is composed of four key elements:
- Perception: Understanding the surrounding environment.
- Localization: Determining the vehicle's position using GPS data, local landmarks, and IMU measurements.
- Decision: Calculating optimal trajectories, velocity profiles, and behavior plans.
- Control: Employing a combination of manual control via a steering wheel, throttle control for acceleration and deceleration, and brake engagement for stopping.
Deep Learning is coming for all major aspects of driverless cars.

DL outperforms traditional perception algorithms by a big margin,
2.Localization
Matured market and technologies.
Emerging new high def map still.
3.Decision
DL based decision are taking over rule-based decision algorithms.
4.Control
Dewar’s wire is a standard feature in most premium and new energy vehicles. Intelligent control systems are under development.
