阅读量:

INTRODUCTION

Intelligence and Security Informatics (ISI) research represents an interdisciplinary academic endeavor that integrates scholars from diverse fields such as information technologies, computer science experts, public policy analysts, bioinformatics specialists, health informatics professionals, social sciences researchers as well as public safety professionals at all levels. This collaborative effort is dedicated to advancing strategies for anticipation, interdiction prevention preparedness response initiatives related to terrorist activities by providing specialized expertise within the IT sector dedicated to countering terrorism-related challenges.

The IEEE International Conference on ISI (IEEE ISI), an annual event、is recognized as a premier conference within the field of security informatics. Originating from Tucson、Arizona since 2003、it has been hosted successively in Atlanta、San Diego、New Brunswick、Taipei、Dallas、Vancouver、Beijing、Seattle、Washington DC、the Hague、Baltimore and Tucson. Over the past 16 years、the IEEE ISI Conference has increasingly shifted its focus towards integrating multiple domains including technology、humans、organization and security through comprehensive analysis of recent advancements across these fields. This year’s IEEE ISI conference will take place in Shenzhen、China.

CONFERENCE THEME & TOPICS

The central topic of the conference centers around AI-Enabled Analytics. In addition to the main academic conference, a variety of supplementary activities scheduled in addition to the AI-enabled analytics theme will be organized.

We are seeking qualified professionals across various domains, including those specializing in Intelligence and Security Informatics, legal professionals engaged in public security matters, and experts from both academic institutions and commercial sectors. We are inviting these individuals to contribute their research papers as well as workshop proposals.

ISI 2019 will be organized in four main tracks focusing on:

  • 安全分析与威胁情报
    • 数据驱动分析与安全信息科技中的分析技术
    • 行为动态及其影响因素在安全应用中的作用
    • 安全应用中的组织挑战、国家层面的问题及国际议题

Submissions may consist of a variety of elements such as systems and subsystems, methodologies and approaches, test-beds and platforms, modeling frameworks and tools, evaluation metrics and indicators, as well as policy documents. Research contributions must pertain to informatics-related fields such as information systems architecture, organizational informatics, public policy analysis informed by behavioral science or social network analysis in the domains of counter-terrorism efforts or cybersecurity measures aimed at safeguarding local/national/international security both in the physical world and online. See specific topic suggestions below.
