WorldClimis

a set of global climate layers (climate grids) with a spatial

resolution of about 1 square kilometer. The data can be used for

mapping and spatial modeling in a GIS or with other computer

programs.

该系统采用arcsecond分辨率（one kilometer栅格数据），其他参数还包括ten minutes分辨率（twenty kilometers栅格数据）。

数据包括平均温度(Mean

Temperature)、最小温度(Minimum

temperature)、最大温度(Maximum

气候要素包括气温(Temperature)、降水量(Precipitation)、高程(Altitude)和生物气候(Bioclim)。该平台提供两种下载格式：基于投影的栅格数据(GeoTiff)和地理信息系统支持的地理数据(ArcGIS)。
