IEEE 802.11ac介绍
IEEE 802.11ac，俗称第五代WiFi，是一个正在发展中的802.11无线计算机网络通信标准（Draft 4.0）.
IEEE 802.11ac is a wireless computer networking standard of 802.11, currently under development (Draft 4.0[1]), providing high-throughput wireless local area networks on the 5 GHz band.[1]
理论上，它能够提供最少每秒1 Gigabit 带宽进行多站式无线局域网（WLAN）通讯，或是最少每秒500 megabits（500 Mbit/s）的单一连线传输带宽。
Theoretically, this specification will enable multi-station WLAN throughput of at least 1gigabit per second and a maximum single link throughput of at least 500 megabits per second (500 Mbit/s).
它采用并扩展了源自802.11n的空中接口（air interface）概念，包括：更宽的 RF带宽（提升至 160 MHz），更多的 MIMO空间串流（spatial streams）（增加到 8），多使用者的 MIMO，以及高密度的解调变（modulation）（达到 256 QAM）。是802.11n的潜在继承者。
This is accomplished by extending the air interface concepts embraced by802.11n: wider RF bandwidth (up to 160 MHz), more MIMO spatial streams (up to 8), multi-user MIMO, and high-density modulation (up to 256 QAM).
